The Life Wanted

This week’s food for thought was brought to me by surprisingly a commercial. Advertising can be an appealing avenue and sometimes can intrigue the viewer in not only buying the advertised product, but in buying their message. In today’s world it seems companies are not selling just the latest and greatest products and ideas but messages.

That started me thinking about my own personal message, what it is and how I sell it. The inspiration for my thinking was brought to me by a drug company’s commercial and it’s slogan is “…don’t just live life, but  live the life you want…”

How many times do we as a humanity just settle, how many times do we feel we are simply just living life and not living the life we wanted. Is it really that hard to join together hand-in-hand the life lived and the life wanted; and what steps can or should we take to get to the life wanted.

Sometimes there are days that surprise each of us when we stop for a moment and let the sun shine on us, or see our children laughing, our dogs playing, or even strangers lending helping hands, that we think, how blessed we are to be living the LIFE WANTED. I think God gives each of us a different message to advertise to the world. Some of us are lucky enough to see it, own it, and inspire others to invest in it. Then there are some of us who are still flipping the channels trying to find out which message they are going to invest in; when really they just need to tune into there own blessings and dreams.

So this week’s food for thought is…

Ask yourself what sort of message am I  advertising each and everyday and do I truly and passionately believe in it enough to sell it/live it.
